I remember reading a story where Kurt thought everyone hated his performance the first time he played, because the audience was dead silent after he played. He mistook the silence for apathy when it was actually utter awe.πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

That look he gives in his eyes at 4:50 when he becomes the song entirely and belts out that last verse exactly as the lyrics were intended to be sung. Legendary!

I was in the 3rd row with my uncle, we never knew at the moment how legendary this concert was going to be oh, we just thought it was going to be another rock concert, to this day we both consider ourselves two of the luckiest people considering what happened. I tell you one thing you think Kurt's voice on video or CD is moving, seeing him sing this live, is one thing I will never forget still gives me chills.... Kurt, we miss you brother, I hope you found peace.. thank you for the music that you left us in a short time, Nirvana will never die....

The cup that Kurt drinks from at 5:51 is the entire 90s in a single object.

Everyone was in shock at the end and couldn't move. Such a powerful concert. I wish they would bring back the unplugged shows again.

I read somewhere Kurt was disappointed at the end or during this performance because of the crowds reaction and he had to be told that they were literally awe struck and couldn't fathom what they had just witnessed and how people viewed him as this mythic figure even during his lifetime so they didn't know how to react while seeing him in person playing, especially up close like the audience in this performance was, and kurt replied "I was pretty good wasn't I?" One of the few times he actually acknowledged his talent from what I've read.

Dude, the silence at the end. Like, everyone was just respectful and in awe of Kurt.

Kurt seemed like a sensitive and caring soul. I hope he is at peace.

His swan song, and he knew it. The rest of us didn't unfortunately. It still hurts. The unplugged shows gave us some all time memorable performances, this is the best one... but it makes you wish things weren't so terrible like they are now.
