I’m a 15 year old boy struggling with acne.
I used to moisturize, put on sunscreen, and ice my face daily. My dermatologist prescribed a medication, and told me to stop all the things I was doing to my skin!! Now my actual skincare routine is just washing my face with high quality body soap😂
At first,I was really confused (especially because my acne was getting worse) but now my skin health’s slowly but surely improving!!

so well, I'm an 18 yo guy here and I don't really get much acne anymore . (at most around 1-2 pimples on face) I remember that I used to try plenty of different facewashes, moisturizers etc. What really helped me was drinking 3-4 litres of water everyday. I started drinking that much water mainly due to gym and stuff but it did improve my skin ALOT. Nowadays, when I watch myself in the mirror I get impressed and wonder if it is really me .

Regarding acne problems, I developed something that worked well for me: sleeping on my pillowcase only once per side. But, instead of trading out my pillowcase every two day, I found that if I put a cotton t-shirt over my pillow and pillowcase, I could sleep on it, flip it over and then turn it inside out - giving me four nights of use per wash. Also, a soft cotton surface is nicer than traditional pillow cases. Try it out!
