So the pre-context is that years ago before covid, there were Disney stores. Now every third Wednesday of the month, they would have a limited-release item (Like stuffed animals, mugs, and pins). Anyways, for a couple of years, I would go to get some of these items and usually, you have to get to the mall early (5-6 a.m.) to be able to get one of the items they were selling. Through those lines, I was able to meet some amazing people who I looked forward to talking to every month. Over time I got to know the people who work at the store and most of the time, I looked forward to seeing them more than the actual items at the store. Going in line in the morning was the same. :)
Now anyways, about three months after they reopened after being closed for almost a year, Disney announced that they were going to close the stores across America - including the one I go to. That was some of the most saddening news I ever heard so far.
So one day, someone arranged a sort of farewell party and invited the Cast members (Disney's terminology for their employees) and many of the people who waited in line over the years. It was such a special night and it was such a special send-off of the years of memories from there. About when I almost got home from the party, the bridge of this song played on the radio and it felt like it was the grand finale to those years.
