I love how it says âNow it donât look the sameâ after her mom pointed out that it was just a weed, when I listened to it, I took it as not having an insecurity and thinking youâre beautiful until someone points out one flaw, which causes you to see something that you never did before and makes you feel insecure about yourself and your appearance đ€đ€đ€

one of her best songs. she is a talented writer and singer. she just needs to work more on her live vocals. that's it. Anyone trying to call her a horrible artist has clearly only seen her Genius interview where she blew out the microphone singing Monster lol. this girl has potential. keep up the work.

to me this song means that when youâre little you see the things that you relate to as beautiful, until society and parents tell you that these qualities are bad. when youâre little you see even your bad qualities as beautiful until someone else teaches you to hate them and yourself, for better or worse. itâs a warped perception of self that is taught to us by society and the negative words of people that are supposed to love us. thereâs no reason why dandelions canât be beautiful, but for some reason we all have it ingrained in our heads that theyâre weeds. i love this song, both the message and the instrumentals. i especially love the acoustic opening and i hope you do more dark acoustic vibes in the future i really liked it gabbieđ„șđ„șđŒđŒ

â you donât want me in your gardenâ - is like you donât want me in your life because Iâm a dark, damaged weed at my core.
I love that the more you dig into the song you find a different meaning to it! Itâs amazing, I donât think songs are real songs without a message and I love the one this one has!

i THINK sheâs talking about how the when youâre a child and youâre innocent you may think dandelions are perfect the way they are. but then society will come and corrupt that telling you that they are not flowers theyâre just weeds. âoh what a shame/now it donât look the sameâ society and peer pressure changes your perspective on things. AND i think she is also saying that she felt like A dandelion as a child and she compared herself to a rose. âyou donât want me in your gardenâ was like saying people donât want her. đ LOVE YOU GABBIE YOURE AMAZING AND SO TALENTED.

I feel like this shows how people can find anything pretty but someone tears it down for what it is. Little kids see things as beautiful but adults ruin it by telling them it's not supposed to be pretty. I wish we could all keep our innocence and see things for how beautiful they are no matter what they are. đ„șâ€

This song is so special to me. Childhood trauma is life destroying. Being raised by a narcissist for a father, and a mother that emotionally volatile and seemingly incapable of unconditional love, it's so easy to let myself feel like a dandelion trespassing in someone else's garden. Just by existing and being me. Especially when my fears are realized by anyone who rejects me. This song is powerful.

"so I took a breath and made a wish and blew them all away" I love how you used this line multiple times and it meant something different each time
