2 years ago, I was unmedicated for bipolar disorder, at first everyone thought it was regular depression. They gave me anti depressants but that didn't work because anti depressants make bipolar worse.Even before those two years I was in and out of mental hospitals and psych wards.Finally I was in one place for 2 months another for two, and another for 4.After that I was put in a group home for 7 months.I got out august 18th of last year.I was remedicated in between all of this to a proper bipolar med.
In the middle of all this, a friend in the hospital introduced me to this song. This song got me through one of the worse points of my life, and every single time I hear this song a massive grin goes across my face. I still sometimes listen to this song before I fall asleep just to have that smile one more time.
Thank you Steve Lacy I love you from the bottom of my heart and thank you for making such a masterpiece.
