The night time is my escape from the world. I make tea and sit in my closet drawing. It’s the time I can sob my eyes out and no one will make fun of me for it. It’s when I collect myself. It’s when I feel alive

The bad thing about this song is that it ends

This is the most beautiful song ever made. What ever happens the moon will always rise and you will always get a chance to try again tomorrow. No matter what happens to you or what changes in your life the moon will always rise. And it will always be a new day at 12am

this song is like a warm hug from someone that understands you. Fells like when you’re trying to explain something while crying and the other person just hugs you and tells you, you don’t have to explain yourself.

my big sister passed a few months ago, last February. we both loved this song. she always said she would send messages to me as a spirit if she passed before me, and today i really wanted to listen to this song, and when i did, i realized the signer sounds exactly like her. i listened to the whole song in happy tears because i now hear my big sisters voice again, in the song we both loved. i don’t think i’ll ever be able to not listen to this once a day.

This song reminds me of my aunt who passed away from cancer not too long ago. She loved singing with my grandmother and they attended chior. She was really talented and had a good, no, great voice. When I listen to this song I think of her, and I sing along. I'm sure she would've too if I showed her this song. I miss her, but this song can never fail to make me feel calmer and happier. My love goes out to this piece of poetry written perfectly and those who have lost anyone they loved, pets included.🫶🫶

As someone who has like “reverse” seasonal depression where I’m happier on cloudy/rainy days and bummed when it’s hot and sunny, I find these lyrics very comforting

Quite some time ago, I wrote a few additional lyrics while on a car ride. Before I delete them off of my phone, perhaps it would be nice to preserve them here: Days disappear just like the listless sand Trudging on but not forward Maybe you will fall, nothing's lost at all Rises the Moon Days creep into the air over the land Seas are left unbothered Down into the depths, have no more regrets Rises the Moon Silence lurks about us, dear I promise you that soon the autumn comes To expose those quiet, unshed tears Breathe, breathe, breathe

this song feels like a lullaby. Like you're in a bad situation, the world around you is so cruel, and late at night a beautiful phantom of a woman appears. And she sits on your bed, hands softly brushing through your hair as she sings you to sleep. You never see her but you feel her there, a gentle maternal goddess of ethereal calm that feels so unobtainable. You drift off into a world of warmth and safety and sleep, dreading the moment morning comes to pull you from her grasp.

My younger siblings call this their "special song" because I would play my guitar and sing this for them to sleep. I'd send videos of me singing and playing to them on nights I was away. Miss you, little ones, I'll visit home again sometime.
