Well I have a theory to the story.
The Emperor’s coven killed the OG characters so Luz, Amity, Willow, and Gus and the betas are out for revenge. Lucia feels guilty for letting Luz and the group die and also for killing the guards but she also wants to get revenge and that’s causing an inner conflict plus the encouragement from Amelia.
