Am really glad it's one of those adaptation of lore-heavy media where non-fans can still watch it and get what's going on in the story, I've always hated the "iTs MeAnT fOr FaNs" excuse

Oh boy you've tickled my fancy again. In my opinion the series get better with each following episode. The first one for me is just a tone setter and like does the legwork. The dialogue is kinda cliche yes but if you know the background story of the LOL wirld you'll find pletny of amzing easter eggs and refferences, also amazing foreshadowing

What’s cool about Leagues lore is that instead of a huge over arching story it focuses on more smaller happenings more specific to the particular region. The piltover and zaun conflict is a small fraction of the world of league of legends. I also really like that it’s fleshes out lots of non-champion characters as well.
