sorry relaxing the regulations won't change much.. crude prices is mostly due to geopolitcs and opec.. no matter how much one drills in the US.. we still only have mostly heavy and sour grade crude.. we don't produce enough light sweet crude to refine enough gasoline.. I should note.. I drilled one of the most wells during obama era and the least during Trump.... (i believe this is the case when you look at the US number of wells on aggregate) secondly, there isnt much undiscovered resources left in the US... no matter how much one drills.. "the size of the prize" (ie. no easy to dill and large untapped areas) just isn't large enough anymore in the US..
