The stats seem to vary wildly on this issue. And many people tend to forget the context of the studies/polls. There’s also plenty of fearmongering and ragebaiting around this issue.
Most men never do paternity testing, only men that have some reason to (like suspicions of paternity fraud) tend to do the testing, yet those figures are often misrepresented as if they concern all men, or all married men.
Regardless of whatever the actual figures are, paternity testing should be made easily accessible or mandatory to protect the rights of both the potential father and the child.
Lying about paternity is vile. Can’t even imagine the horror of finding out the truth years or even decades later.

The Problem of Paternal Uncertainty COMMENT ✍️:
This video is very informative and thought-provoking. I agree that paternal uncertainty is a serious problem that affects many men and their families. It is unfair that men have to bear the costs and risks of raising children that are not genetically theirs, without their knowledge or consent. I think that DNA testing should be mandatory for all newborns, so that men can have the right to know the truth and make informed decisions about their relationships and parental responsibilities. This would also discourage women from cheating on their partners and lying about their children's paternity. Paternal uncertainty is not only a biological issue, but also a moral and social one. It undermines trust, love, and loyalty in families and society. We need to address this problem and protect the interests and dignity of men who are the victims of paternity fraud. 😐

In Ireland it's nigh on impossible to find out what your own blood type is, because the issue talked about in the video is so rife. Doctors simply refuse to order blood typing tests, even when a person is in a situation where it's important for them to know their own blood type for medical reasons. It's pure madness.
I live in Ireland, but come from a different country where all children routinely get their blood typed, so we all know our own and each other's blood types.
