The biggest tip before you book your test is to wait until clutch breaking gears mirrors and signal maneuver are all second nature to you and all of your focus is on the road and positioning your can and looking for sings and speed

I failed exactly for this reason before I passed on the next test. The reason for me was (apart from the mistake of missing the sign for "left only") the examiner said "Please follow the road, for any turns I'll let you know" and my brain equated that as "just keep going straight from all junctions" š¤¦

I nearly made this mistake while I was riding a motorcycle. I had to break just as I went into the one way road. It was night at didn't see the sigh at all at first.

Is this Leighton buzzard? I know someone who failed her test for the same thing at that junction if it is, but in her defence when she took her test years back one no entry sign was obscured by bushes and the other rotated, I thought it was a little harsh back then but this video itās clear, wonāt make that mistake again
