My new angle is Mr. Justinā¦ Iām using three pair - AKGās Neumannās & the MMās like u got.. this is my main mixing situation currently Iām not able to use my speakers that I do have. š”- the benefit to that is, learning how to mix in headphones! So Iāve taken the approach youāve been teachingā¦ And Iāve added two more pairs just to reference those and it really helps- but again you are correct, sir. Thanks for your help.!! š

My mixes were getting ok after over 10 years until I switched to trying to mix in headphones and then that took me around 4 years and felt like I was starting from the beginning again lol. I got way worse and just now starting to find my way again.
I gave up after a year or so with my hd800's too and then had to spend a couple of years using headphones that model speakers to get back on track lol.
I'm sure others don't struggle as much as me tho.
I did take a few years gap between so I'm sure that did affect things also

What about mixing in a mixing control room that is phase-accurate!!! Now that's a breakthrough I never hear anyone talk about nowadays! The "secret" to great mixes!!!

Not me, I'm deaf in one ear!!!! I'd tweak the title to Can You Get a Good Mix in any Headphones ? .... because the answer to your title is yes.... but in reality is that mix good and usable to get a Pro sounding master.
