Things sure seem scary right now, and have for years. While our family has found peace in being prepared with life skills, homesteading, and emergency equipment, we of course never wished for any of this to happen.
They told us pandemics, wars, shortages, school closures, major inflation, and quarantines, were things of the past. There isn’t any satisfaction to be had in “I told you so.”
It’s an unwelcome sight seeing the things we were called “crazy” for anticipating play out on the world screen. I think many of us would have been okay with being the crazy ones, and not needing to be prepared.
But, there is peace to be found in continuing to live a self sufficient life, learn more skills, and prepare to help our neighbors in any way we can. 💕
