Something I like about Phone Guy is that throughout the games he almost always has this calm attitude, even when heâs literal seconds away from death. But there is one time when he isnât.
On night 6 of FNAF 2, you can hear it in his voices that heâs no longer calm, but scared and panicked when he learns that we (Jeremy) are in the pizzeria with the massively more aggressive animatronics, tells us itâs safer to stay where we are than to try to leave, and even offers to take our next shift on night 7, despite how obviously dangerous it would be.
He cared for us. He didnât deserve to go out the way he did.

Kinda terrifying to think about. Your soul being trapped in an object that can't move or see like the animatronics. Only being able to make garbled noise that people would never understand. Just stuck there.
I'm gonna assume that the phone was in the FNAF3 location and burned in there, and that's how Phone Guy was freed.

My theory is that, since UCN is William's personal hell, Phone Guy is there as a reminder that his actions have caused the deaths of people he hasn't even directly killed. Phone Guy is only dead because William killed the kids who possessed the animatronics.

Just a fun little theory since it's probably good to get away from breaking our brains over the timeline XD
I actually made a video about this a while ago, but unfortunately short videos don't perform as well as Short videos, so I thought it would be fun to remake it in the Shorts format now that I know what I'm doing!
