As pakistani muslim i have seen in my school and other schools, hindu students always had this option study ethics subject instead of islamiyat.
In ethics subject, as far as i know, they learn about their religion they had their separate subject exam.
So this is really not so true. if she is saying this, maybe somewhere she was not able to answer, but mazak nahi uraya jata humne to nahi dekhaa? Nahi mere sath hindu friends ne nahi dekhaa!
