The runabout is good against fighters as that it the size its power core can handle, but it has absolutely no storage space available for frigate sized phaser banks, or torpedoes.
Voyager never used their replicator to make torpedoes, so it is assumed that their replicator systems either prohibit the manufacture of such devices, or they are too complex in their circuitry, as well as use of many different types of materials. So using a replicator would probably not work.
Just don't describe that issue to the ones who mined the wormhole in DS9.

Not easy fighting something like that... the runabout is my favorite small ship. And have used it against everything. In klingon academy i used the ingame tmp version in a swarm. Too bad you cant do that in BC.

Delta Flyer with the added hidden weapons pods that I think only appear in the concept sketches I think might have a chance but an upgunned shuttle likely has no shot against a dedicated gunship like the B'rel. Now make a mission where both have to fight each other while scanning some anomaly on a time limit and I give the more well-rounded Federation small craft a better shot.

I wonder what the use case is for photon torpedoes on a runabout. Having them makes it more of a target than not having them, and it canβt defend itself adequately.

Now Iβm curious about the Romulan Bird-of-Prey against a runabout, or, really, any 23-c. ship, given the unclear tactical threat of runabouts.

you'd probably need about 10 runabouts and even then it'll be a real challenge π

Hmmm... how about a Lantian puddlejumper. It has no shields, but a couple lucky shots from some drones might work

That was totally AMAZING Thank U for doing my request & it went the way I thought it would. It would be great if you could upgrade the Runabout with hull armor stronger shield emitters & micro quantum torpedoes

You have to use the Runabout as fighter, with superior maneuverability to get on top or below the BoP and stay there. Otherwise you're just target practice for Captain Klaa.
