I'd rather have an option to disable the back gestures on the left side, so that they don't interfere with app side menus to be honest.

For anyone wondering why it's not working in most of the apps. Because it needs to be enabled and coded by the developer in the app. So for now, it'll work mostly with the system apps or say Google apps. It'll work eventually when the developer designs his app in that way.

Glad to see they are finally bringing some of the Developer Options into Android itself. Some of those Options have been in there for Years. I always change the Animation Scale whenever I get a New Phone I set it to the lowest so it makes your Phone feel faster.

I'm sorry to say this, but OnePlus/OxygenOS 10 bottom navigation gestures were peak. It all went massively downhill from there
Left bottom swipe up: back
Middle bottom swipe up: Return to launcher
Middle bottom swipe up and hold: Access recent apps
Right bottom swipe up: back (as well)
No sluggishly animated arrows, no accidental swiping an app's side menu out when you didn't mean to. It just worked beautifully..

U don't of to enable predict back animation to use that feature go in settings type in navigation bar an enable swipe gesture to use it slide D navigation bar to the right r left u see it sameway

Pixel 6 pro. I enabled it but it made my system crash all the time so I had to disable it and now no more system UI crashes. For anyone who is using it and notices UI crashes

Some devices don't seem to respond properly to this toggle, so it may not work on every device. It all depends on the OEM. :) Crossing my fingers that it works for you 🤞
