He’s a comedian everyone! He’s not being serious. Obviously it’s smarter to buy than rent ! Lol

Let me tell you something this 54 year-old did last week... I recently watched a few YouTube videos to prep me in buying two faucet cartridges for my kitchen sink and a tool that loosens the old ones out and tightens the new ones in (for $25 total at a hardware store, plus two hours of easy manual work total) to fix my kitchen faucet drip for the only time I've had to do it in 17 years -

- in a house where the mortgage was paid off four years ago, so not only don't I have to worry about a fixed rate mortgage payment that decreases in real terms every year I got a pay raise - I haven't needed to pay a penny in mortgage or rent at all for years.

=-=-= OR =-=-=

Watch my rent bill increase for the rest of my life, effectively paying for someone else to mostly sit on their ass for life (where they occasionally have to come over to do things like fix a faucet drip for a couple of hours) and at the end of it all I have nothing to show for it when I'm too frail to pick up a spoon.

Always buy the house, pay extra into principal (so you could get a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage put behind you after half that time or sooner), and live for decades of your life rent free. Or never learn how to fix a sink via YouTube, and have that cost you tens of thousands of dollars in your life Myles!
