So true. As a trans man, the change in how I now get to hear men talk in private about how they basically hate women has me flabbergasted. The amount of men who call women "females" and will go on weird tangents about all women being the same, being emotional/crazy, not wanting to deal with their wives, etc. now when we're chatting alone is staggering. This discourse reminded me of a relationship i had with a otherwise nice guy who bought into the incel shit. He loved me, but as a "woman and girlfriend," not as a human being. Removing that human element made it feel like he saw me as just a different species that had to act and be treated certain ways. And that is definitely a huge Barrier to loving someone.

Straight guy here. I genuinely love and respect women. I have zero problem with women in positions of power. Hell, 3 years ago I was hired by a woman to my dream job. It was great, and different, having her as a boss since I had had only male bosses up to that point.

I know a guy who has an "issue" where he only dates skinny women and then cheats on them with fat women. He's attracted to fat women but dates skinny women specifically because society tells him HE looks better if he's with a skinny girl. Everyone loses here. He's not happy, the skinny girl is with someone who treats her like a trophy, and the fat girl is being treated as a guilty pleasure and not a person.
