Marie Curie was attributed with saving over 100,000 lives in WWI and was offered France's highest military medal.
She is also the ONLY person to receive Nobel Prizes in 2 different fields of science, physics and chemistry.
She discovered and developed radiation treatment for skin cancers.
Her daughter was also awarded a Nobel Prize in science.

Maria Curie was not Jewish. The rumours were based on her second name Salomea, which in France was thought to be a Jewish name, but also was a popular non-Jewish name in Poland. In Poland many cultural aspects of life mixed between Jewish-Polish and non-Jewish-Polish citizens, simply because of how long they lived together in one country.

Having verified the statement that Marie Curie is Jewish, it appears that it is false. Her mother was Catholic, her father atheist, with both parents ethnicities listed as Polish by sources such as both Polish and English Wikipedia. The same Wikipedia lists the hypothesis that Marie Curie was Jewish as false and stemming from xenophobia due to those events described in this short. So unless someone presents some additional details I”d assume that this is the truth

Although there is no lack of Jewish scientists, Marie Curie actually isn't one. Curie was neither Jew herself nor did she have Jewish ancestry. In fact, the rumour that she was Jewish was started by xenophobic agitators to discredit her in the eyes of a French public that had only recently gone through the Dreyfus affair (itself a sad reminder of the antisemitic zeitgeist of the era). It is unfortunate that these rumours have stuck around because they amount to disinformation. Sabine should consider correcting the video.

Maria Skłodowska-Curie was not jewish. She was born to atheis father and catholic mother, she became atheist after her mother and sister died and openly declared herself atheist from the age 16 onward.
After she moved to France in 1891 the frenchmen had little knowlage about lands that constituted Kingdom of Poland under Russian partition, also they thought she was jewish, because they drew connection between considerable jewish population in Russia and her country of origin. Also Marias grandmother was named Salome, which in premodern Poland was common name for catholic women.
At least check your facts, call her by full last name (as was her wishes) and do not lead people into mistakes
