It’s hitting Gen Alpha too. Old Navy had a super cute Aline skort and matching pullover sweatshirt for girls - I bought it for my 6 year old (she needed summer clothes, I thought it was just a trend because of pickelball 😅) and then I saw a lot of girls in her school wearing it the other color. I don’t go into target anymore, only when I need certain essentials. But I remember a few weeks or months I walked in and saw a whole section dedicated to tennis aesthetic and I just knew it was because of the movie! And I went to target again like two weeks ago and like 60% of the tennis items were on clearance. I hate trend cycles because they’re so gimmicky.

I think it’s more than just the movie, but also that more people are exercising via pickle ball and tennis so I think it’s not just the trend for fashion but fitness too
