Thank you for this! Outdoor cats are invasive in many places and the ecosystems (already under immense pressure) suffer for it. Too many cat owners are either willfully negligent, or maliciously negligent and that has to change.
An indoor cat is one that lives longer, anyways.

I'm a cat sitter and when they come to stay with me they're not allowed outside, mostly because I live next to a busy road and wouldn't forgive myself if anything happened to them. They enjoy watching the birds from my window but since I live by the sea the birds they watch are mostly seagulls. Our seagulls are so aggressive that even the bulldogs walk around in pairs so the pampered cats I look after have no chance! π€ͺπ€£
