Fiona was a gem, loved her. Her road wasn't always easy but anybody would have those hiccups in her position.
She did the best she could and beyond when she didn't have to.

Considering her long and rugged road started at nine years old Fiona did the best she could handling all the emotions, all the changes of growing up and supporting people without having a childhood or a life of her own, with absolutely no mentorship, no guidance and no foresight.
I’m surprised with her character growth. She didn’t do anything self-destructive because she let herself down. She always took accountability even when she was 100% in the wrong.

The moment I lost any hope on Frank ever changing was this plot with the custody battle
All because Frank got kicked out for being Frank and having a bunch of hobos join him
And when they threw him out he wanted to manipulate them through DCFS to blackmail Fiona back into the house
Fiona said it best during court about Frank being a narcissist alcoholic with someone who uses people as pawns to benefit their own survival by any means and crashing and ransacking people for what they got and then discarding them
