After being a false Christian for many years, I know what he was saying. The Christian walk IS impossible if you’ve not truly been born again. But when you do get born again, it’s the sweetest treasure you can ever have. And while I still struggle, the struggle is so worth it

Sounds like Catholicism, not Christianity.
I do repent of any sins I see myself committing but I do not cling to the guilt like I once did. I am forgiven of them and washed clean by the blood.
In knowing that I have peace and joy that nothing can take away.

Sad that he feels that way. It's less about feeling shame and more about being in awe of God and His holiness. It gives me strength in times of temptation.

He sounds like he doesn't want to repent. 🤔 And guess what he doesn't have to because of free will. However if he doesn't change and bow to God's will - he'll end up in hell. Then he'll understand the real meaning of a toxic environment that he won't be able to escape.🤷🏾♀️

Instead of worrying the most about the sin you commit, realize that we can come back to Christ, that's not an excuse to sin and it's good to feel uncomfortable about sin, but when you beat yourself up for your sins, you miss what Christ did on the Cross for you, He died so you can have a relationship with God and be forgiven, the goal is to focus on Jesus, if you live by the spirit you live contrary to the flesh, and if you live by the flesh, you live contrary to the spirit, this was said by our Lord and Savior, we focus on Him everyday, it's good to feel uncomfortable and even guilty about your sin, that's the Holy spirit telling you to come back, and you learn from it, build from it, not destroy yourself with it, it's not toxic, it's a learning experience, a growing experience
There have been times I have beaten myself up for sinning, but I learned something
There are 2 different feelings when it comes to sinning
Conviction
And Condemnation
Conviction is from the Holy Spirit reminding you that you are in a very dangerous place and to come back to Chirst
Condemnation is of the devil... it tells you that you'll never change, how can God forgive you if you keep falling into the same sin, your going to hell
Do not EVER listen to the condemnation, I have before
And I can tell you from experience, it broke me, and almost shattered my faith, but Praise The Lord He reminded me of His Love and Grace, and I just need to get back up and keep going and keep trying and putting my trust and my faith and my life into His Hands
Trust The Lord, you may walk through the storm, but you walk with Him, and the times you fall, He picks you back up, He Redeems us, put your faith and trust in Him, and walk with Him

Amen! When I was in WoF (thank God he had mercy and opened my eyes), they teach that if you preach on sin it makes you sin conscious which leads you to sin more; whereas they teach you are righteous, so you focus on that. However, I saw many of these live in and hide their sin saying "I'm under grace!" They speak just like this guy. Praise God for Pastor Joe teaching truth! God used him to open my eyes when I asked God to show me truth.❤🙏📖
