When my boys were small, the real Santa used to visit Butterley Railway station where the Midland Railway centre was but it's over 20 years since we saw him.
It's nice that he goes to different places each year so children at least stand a chance of seeing him rather than one of his many helpers. Obviously Santa's helpers are fantastic, and give presents to all children who go to see him BUT to get to see the real one is a once in a lifetime experience.
