Next Level Chicken Pakora Recipe for Iftar Ramadan 2024 Special Recipe in Urdu- Meraamskitchen:
Ingredients:
Chicken fillet, lengthwise cut into strips
1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon oil (for frying chicken)
2 tablespoon oil (for pakora batter)
1.5 cups gram flour (besan)
Cumin
Fenugreek leaves
Green chilies
2 onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon salt (for onions)
1/4 tablespoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon hot spices powder
1 teaspoon blended red chili
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
2 tablespoons white flour
1 teaspoon garlic paste (for pakora batter)
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon carom seeds
2 tablespoons yogurt
Instructions:
1. Marinate the chicken strips with garlic paste, salt, black pepper powder, and red chili powder. Mix well and let it sit for a while.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and fry the marinated chicken until cooked and the water from the chicken dries up. Once done, set aside to cool.
3. In a separate bowl, prepare the pakora batter. Start by adding 2 tablespoons of oil, gram flour, cumin seeds, fenugreek leaves, chopped green chilies, sliced onions, salt, red chili powder, hot spices powder, blended red chili, cumin powder, coriander powder, white flour, garlic paste, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, carom seeds, and yogurt. Mix everything well.
4. Slowly add water to the mixture to make a thick batter. Ensure there are no lumps in the batter.
5. Heat oil in a frying pan for deep frying the pakoras. Once the oil is hot, take small portions of the batter and drop them into the hot oil using a spoon.
6. Fry the pakoras on medium heat for 2-3 minutes, then increase the flame to high and press the pakoras gently using a spatula.
7. Fry the pakoras for another 1-2 minutes on high flame until they turn golden brown and crispy.
8. Remove the pakoras from the oil and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Your Chicken and Onion Pakoras are ready to be served! Enjoy them with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
