I love the song because of the male vocalist in the song, but I would love to hear a version without him, too. I mean, there's a lot of evanescence songs I adore even more than bring me to life, so they weren't completely right in their assessment of needing a man in the mix.

I genuinely always thought that the male vocals were half-assed mediocrity as is. I would love to hear a version with just her as she absolutely killed it. She genuinely is the best part of the song and probably the only reason I like it. Take her out and it wouldn't be on my playlist.
