You've probably heard of ever-burning lamps before, ordinary lamps that burn with no oil. The most famous example is the story of Hanukkah, which commemorates the miracle of the menorah burning for eight days when it only had enough oil to burn for one. This was important to the Jewish people because they had just reclaimed the holy temple in Jerusalem and had to rededicate the temple by lighting the menorah.

No. I’ve never heard of ever burning lamps.

Theoretically possible in the case of the tomb. Most people know that if you cover a candle with a cup, it snuffs out as it uses up all the oxygen. If that tomb was leaking in just enough oxygen to barely sustain that fire (very, very small fire). When it was opened, more oxygen flowed in and the flame was seen again. Not saying that's exactly what happened, but I can see it being possible

Unless there was a steady stream of oxygen coming in through the opening of the tomb and the wick was somehow able to burn without undergoing any chemical and physical changes, and there was a fuel source, the idea of an ever burning candle is ludicrous

I don’t see how it’s possible for fire to burn without oxygen… 🤨
