‎کاروانسرا حاصل دقایقی از همسازی کورش و من است. زاییده ی گذری بر خاطرات سالها مودت و همدلی که به زبان سازهایمان روایت شده است. همچون ساربانان که ساعاتی را در تیمچه و ساباطی به همدمی و هم کلامی می نشینند و حکایت آنچه بر قافله شان گذشته به میان میآورند، داستان کاروان زندگیمان را با مقامات و نواهای سرزمین مادریمان که توشه ی کاروان عمرمان است به روایت نشستیم. این بداهه پردازی روایتگر نغماتی برخواسته از دلهایمان و گاه نوایی کهن و بعضا گوش آشنای دیارمان است. ملازم این کاروان باشید و خود قافله سالار آن، باشد که آنچه از دلهامان برآمده بر دلهایتان خوش نشیند.

“Caravanserai” is an album born from pure, spontaneous creation—a single-night session that was never intended to become a full project. It all started in my modest one-bedroom apartment in Irvine, California, where Mehdi and I set up a makeshift studio and let the music lead us. We improvised deep into the night, capturing the raw, unfiltered energy of the moment. The result is an album that unfolds like a journey across vast, desert landscapes, blending ambient textures with soulful acoustic melodies. It feels like a soundtrack to a moonlit gathering around a fire, where each note carries the warmth of shared stories. The name “Caravanserai,” inspired by ancient roadside inns where travelers paused to rest and connect, captures the essence of this collection: a fleeting yet timeless refuge of sound. It’s a project that feels both ancient and immediate, an unexpected recording that turned into a serendipitous celebration of music in its most unrefined, authentic form.
