Chickens will definitely green up some grass. I've got a bunch of black australorps that are great layers and some bantams that were given to us years ago. I'm gettin ready to harvest the older less producing hens. We just received a 10 count package of straight run australorps. I'm breeding rabbits for meat now too,so hopefully we can always have fresh meat and eggs if nothing else. God bless,ya'll take care.
