Even caleb Mclaughlin said that jason wasnt a villain, he was just a broken hero. He never bullied anyone, was not racist like billy and was nice to lucas. He even paid his respects to billy and hopper.He only hated eddie after the policemen had blamed eddie for the murder. When people realize that he doesn't know about Vecna and the upside down, they also realize that he was kinda in the right. From what he knew, Chrissy was murdered in cold blood, and the murder was being hidden by a bunch of people that seemed to be in a "cult" of some sort. He wasn't crazy whatsoever. He was genuinely hurt.
