Some people need to chill It is in aud so a bit under $700 USD and that is the price these guys are selling it for including tax (10%) / delivery (probably about 5% of the cost) with above standard warranty. (If cared)
But yes people should be able to get better value building their own. (But not every one wants to)

In South Africa for 1k usd you can get a custom prebuilt with: ryzen 7 5700x3d, rtx 4060, 32gb ram and 1tb ssd

Just make sure youβve either got an extra ryzen 3000 series cpu around or the mobo has a bios flash button cause for some reason no manufacturer updates the bios to the latest version.

This is like more like what 75$ cpu. 60$ mobo. 50$ in ram. 60-70$ 1tb nvme. And 200$ rx 6600. But this isn't 1000$ usd or Aussie.(more like 600$ usd when counting got some labor etc)You can build one these with 5700x3d and rx 6700xt for that....

The shadow 4 from sky tech gaming is pretty good itβs 1000USD (on clearance) with an 1712400F and a 4060 with 16gb of DDR4 ram and an aio cooler (not sure what model)
