"Paris Blues,” is the last known unissued recording by The Doors, and was officially released two years ago.
Written as an original Blues song by the band, it was recorded during a session for either THE SOFT PARADE or L.A.WOMAN, though the exact album remains unclear. The master tape was lost, leaving only a surviving copy given to Doors’ keyboardist Ray Manzarek, which was unfortunately partially damaged when his toddler son, Pablo, recorded over a few sections. Thanks to some inventive editing, the song lives on.
