I remember these but no see one for years. How well has the French electrics stood up, does everything work, and importantly how the hell has it survived so long?

As the owner of the 1991 R25 featured by John recently, I have had no electric issues in the last six years of ownership. I have also owned plenty of Renaults over the years and no issues experienced. My sister did have an early Megane which did eat coil packs, but otherwise no more unreliable than others.
