Honestly, I admit she's talented but she has been shouty for a while. Whenever I watch sheesh live performances and I'm talking about music bank promotions, whenever it comes to her rap parts it's always like she's shouting her rap parts and the fact that she shares a rap part with Ruka , who raps at the normal tone, the entire performance comes off as unbalanced. Kinda of like a kid at a talent show who has to work in group who is obviously trying to overshadow the others, that might not be the case but either way it makes the entire performance come of as overwhelming in a bad way. I've seen some baemon stans say it's better to over perform that to underperfom. No they both bad, one makes the audience feel underwhelmed and bored another makes the audience feel overwhelmed and just makes the experience jarring. However she shouldn't be hated but be criticized in krder for her to improve and prevent her from damaging her vocal chords from that god awful 'belting'

I think ahyeon definitely can do high notes, technique is definitely important. but for rapping, YG told the girls to rap in a higher tone, shes just doing what shes been told and is hyping the audiences. As for her dance, hating on her for "overdancing" is just unneccessary, whoever hates her dance method is just trying to find stuff to pick on 17 year old.

No offense but even during predebut, when I heard her sing Dangerously by Charlie Puth, I though that the high note was kind of like a shout then in Sheesh it was the same. I know she will improve since they just had their debut so let's give them time to improve, ok?
