Chicken tikka

Ingredients
1 chicken cut into quarters
2 tbsp plain yogurt
1 tsp tumeric ,dhania jeera powder,Garam masala,Kashmiri curry powder (I however used my own mixed masala)
1 tbsp tandoori spice
1 tbsp crushed ginger garlic
Juice from 1 lemon
Salt to season
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp water
Method
1) Remove skin from quartered chicken ,and slit diagonally
2) Season with lemon juice and salt on both sides
3)Make your marinade by mixing all of the above together ,till you get a paste.
4)rub paste onto chicken quarters and set aside in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight
5)Once your braai fire is ready,place quarters onto the braai and allow to get done
Make a basting using
Butter @ramasouthafrica
Paprika
Juice from half a lemon
Baste chicken every time you turn it in the fire
(I used the extra basting as a dipping sauce for my potatoe wedges 🙈don’t judge ! It was actually really nice 🤭)
Serve with soft rotis,salad,fries and hot sauce
