Black is my all time favourite Pearl Jam song. The lyrics hit you directly in the heart while the music is almost hauntingly soothing. Black was the first PJ that directly connected with me, who I am, what I was trying to deal with and the state of my life. Truthfully it was the very first song that ever did and I fell in love with Pearl Jam immediately.
