It's because farmer can chop wood, garden, mine, walk 10k steps, give gifts and socialize but we realize that despite having control over what they do, we push buttons, not all those things.

Stardew lets our mind go thru its motions of being as productive as possible and just be. I get it from other games but i get so sucked into the schedules i make in Stardew

Had a friend whose Stardew spouse got mad they weren't at the flower dance and he felt so bad 😂 They don't seem to care unless you're married lol. Also our least favorite holiday event, you're not alone

Everything in this is way too relatable 😂 The social stuff too. I try to appease digital beings so much, even when I replay stardew and other games I always choose nicest dialogue options. Despite being /so/ curious about what happens with the mean ones. That's what YouTube is for

My Stardew character wakes up at 6AM, goes to sleep at 2AM, does manual labour, maintains friendships, has money. My ADHD, time blind, chronically ill ass could never.
