Recently, I've been hearing about a theory that, in the FNAF AR Special Delivery emails, Vanessa's email confirms that she was born in 1997, meaning that the game takes place in 2020, before the date that most people believe FNAF 3 to take place, not to mention Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, Ultimate Custom Night, and the other games.
However, there are a couple things that I feel makes this theory hold a bit less water, and those are the email itself and the FFPS Insanity Ending

ngl, Imma 'bout to just give up on trying to place games within definitive years. I swear at least once a month there's some kinda new interpretation for what year these games take place that is fairly compelling

That is a fair point. The Henry dialogue from pizza sim, is even from the Egg Baby (Data Archived), so we arenât hearing Henry in present day, we are hearing archived footage. The insanity ending would probably mean the other animatronics (if they are there) would hear the message, and catch wind to whatâs going on, escaping the pizzaplace, and causing mayhem.
Also, the true ending shows a building labeled as Freddy Fazbears Pizza Place, with a condemned sign. Thatâs the same name of the pizzaplace in security breach.

I dont believe fnaf 3 happens in 2023, apparently the place opened 30 years after the Tragedies that happened at fazbears. That most likely being the murders of 1985, placing fnaf 3 somewhere close to 2015. That way it makes sense for those other dates like 1997 to make perfect sense.

I know I already talked about this but in ImmenseAndrew video âThe Survival Logbook is STILL important⌠and it changes FNAF 3â said that the 3rd game actually dates at 2017 but it is your choice to watch that video or not

Once again a great short ID! I'm honestly surprised to see that this has been brought up again, I remember the discussions about it back when the scrapped emails from AR were leaked, but we all just jotted it down really that the 97 was more likely the date rather than the year, just as you said.

I think that the 97 being her birth year matches well with fnaf 3 starting at or around 2015. The only evidence proving that fnaf 3 came some time after was a post on steam that is not cemented into the cannon lore yet and is also worded to see 30 years from 1983 as hyperbole.

The problem with this is that 223 is not even close to a proper way to write or abbreviate a year. 97 is both a perfectly reasonable way to write September 7th or 1997. But 223 is a terrible way to write 2023, but makes perfect sense as February 23rd. If either of this numbers is going to correspond to a year, it is significantly more likely to be 97.

I dont think 9-7 is the significance of the 97 because nobody makes emails like that. That would be super convoluted. Similarly nobody abreviates the year 2023 to 223. They would simply put 23.

Could it be the year the account was opened? Perhaps when Vanessa was onboarded into Fazbear Entertainment and given her company email?

I donât really know what implications it would have on the timeline but it could also be the year she graduated. A lot of people do that for usernames and emails

I've said it hundreds of times, FNaF 3 happened on 2017, the survival logbook reveals it via a coupon, and PS moat likely happened somewhere along 2019 to 2021
