The OG season told me onething: simple is better for a few things:
1. Optimization, because the map and stuff was way simpler it was also more ez to run.
2. Gameplay, it makes gameplay more simple because of the weapons, terrain etc

Respectfully, no those other games wouldnāt be Fortnite, and this is for the same reason that any two tower defense games are different. The reason is because they are specifically different IPs, and just because Fortnite was a BR game, doesnāt mean all the BR games are Fortnite. Fortnite, is the same game, because it is the same IP, and though some mechanics have changed people have continued to play for its specific rendition of the BR premise.

What makes Fortnite, is it's destructible enviorments and it's sandbox. While Apex, PUBG, and Warzone have a certain meta, Fortnite has counters for everything, plus it changes it up every two weeks. Sometimes it's major, other times it's minor.
