Try a case swap! I have done them and on too of being fun, they are so cheap. You can get xeon systems or 2nd to 5th gen systems that would work very well for that application! And though they are proprietary , that is a fun factor as you get to make your own stuff. With a case swap you can also have small form factors or more space for things like drives. Good vid!

My dad has this thing chugging along since it was released. Still with the windows home server os thing. I hasnโt had any downtime or needed ew drives.

x86 is amazing you can run 2024 software on a 2 decades old hardware and it runs it for you, like it's not much but it's honest work!
