That's why when I do carb reduction stints, I still include potatoes!
Yeah there's nutrients n fibre in whole grains but the nutrient to carb ratio for potatoes is worth the payoff more than grains' ratio.

Just fact checked this and not true. Oats have 9.8 g of dietary fiber per 100 grm, potatoes have 1.3 grams. Love potatoes, but this is not true.
