This dog was found by the right people just in time. The man pointed out the vehicle that was deployed to catch stray dogs. It was just in front of them. If the stray dog was spotted seconds earlier, he might have been in that vehicle instead.

The city imposed a rule to better control the stray dog population so the dog would've been taken in and likely euthanized.

It's unknown whether the dog ever had a human owner before but he was covered in fur. The people helping were quite afraid of being bitten mostly because the dog didn't trust them.

After they finally got him into their car, the man told the dog that they are good people so please don't bite them, they were only trying to help him.

They took him to a dog groomer who at first was reluctant to help him because they didn't want to get bitten by a stray dog who may carry certain diseases. But they ultimately decided to help.

It took some time for the man to calm the dog down enough so he could put the dog on the table for the dog groomer to work on. As the layers came off, the dog became a completely different dog. Who knew underneath all that matted fur was a beautiful dog. He also finally let down his guard.

It must have been difficult not being able to see the world. Once the matted furs came off, he was able to see who was helping him and realized that the humans meant no harm. You can see how happy he looked to finally walk outside in his new skin. With his new owner.
