Is this satire or what? Cause teaching kids how to throw pumpkins with medieval trebuchets isn’t dangerous its not like they were giving a shop full of tools and explosives and told to fuck around. Just saying its good for kids to learn hands on and see some destruction. AND ITS A FUCKIN COLLEGE!

This is basic level engineering education. A trebuchet is a fantastic example of many different common factors in physics. Fulcrums, pendulums, Force multiplication, ect.
Weapons are just tools, regardless of what era that weapon is used in. The existence of tools has never and will never be a problem. Mentally unhealthy people willing to use those tools for nefarious ends are (and always has been and always will continue to be until we address it) the actual problem.
Personally I think gun safety and education should be required curriculum in our schools considering the fact that there are three guns to every one American.
