Imagine if RE9 comes out with a cast of Billy, Sheva, Jake, and Helena. The story would make absolutely no sense but the nostalgia vibes would be immense 😂

There’s actually tons of RE characters like this who never canonically show up again except for retellings and non-canon spin offs. The most prominent ones aside from Billy are probably Carlos, Sheva, Jake and the characters from Outbreak. There’s also Sherry who made two canon appearances but also just vanished like the rest of the other characters.

Even if he made it out of the mountains he likely would've gone to Racoon city to provision which is when 2 and 3 happen.

I still remember when RE5 was first teased. Since it was already confirmed the setting was Africa, me and my friend firmly believed Billy was the returning protagonist (since Chris' identity also wasn't confirmed yet)
Love Chris but was also greatly disappointed it wasn't Billy
