I can’t imagine what she’s going through. Being chronically ill in peacetime is hard enough to manage but having to live through massacre after massacre without access to medication doesn’t bear thinking about

I really love your Allende shirt 🥹 it's also very pertinent to the video too. His last speech before the dictatorship took over my country in 1973 was "Sigan ustedes sabiendo que, mucho más temprano que tarde, se abrirán las grandes alamedas por donde pase el hombre libre para construir una sociedad mejor", which translates to "Let it still be known to you all that, sooner than later, the big avenues will be opened for where the free men will walk to build a better society". I dream of the day Palestine will be free from it's colonizers, as well as Sudan, Congo, Hawaii, and all the countries that are suffering to this day. Your Chilean sisters and brothers will always fight and pray for your freedom 🇨🇱

I had online classes. Funniest difference was the complete silence whenever the prof would ask the class something. When you're all faceless in a chatroom you get a kind of bystander effect where no one really wants to say anything. We got to take online exams at home which were open-book, but of course you weren't allowed to use the internet. You'd have to sign a document beforehand solemnly swearing that you wouldn't cheat. Of course cheating was rampant in those exams but it was the best that they could do. I'm proud to say that I only cheated a little bit and did almost all of those exams the intended way. I'm pretty happy that I have physical classes again these days.

As someone who thinks about what would happen if they were to lose access to there meds often things like this always hit so close to home. Truthfully I hope that at the end of the day they are successful in their endeavors.

It saddens me that content like this, where people are genuinely trying to help others have to be censored for the algorithm to boost it. I hope this family, and the many others that are trapped in this awful situation get the help they need. Much love from Canada 🇨🇦

I like how lions purr, but it sounds like growling because they're so big.❤❤❤

I absolutely adore all types of birds. Listening to doves cooing, crows cawing, or ravens croaking throughout the day makes it so much brighter. Getting to see families of birds nest and raise their young ones as well is such a lovely gift to be able to witness. 🐦 🐦‍⬛

One of my close friends is Palestinian, we have gone to the same school for the last 5 years! In 2021, there was a rise in protests and awareness for Palestine (not as much as there is right now) and we all demanded our school allow us to do fundraisers and educate people on it and they did! I always use this to explain to people how important it is we use our voices, mind you were were all 13-14 at the time, and just kept asking teachers to talk about it and drawing the flag on all the whiteboards and making surewe were heard to the point they dedicated an entire week of history lessons on the unbiased summary of Palestine and how things have come to what it is. Use your voice!! No matter who you are, how old you are, how little or a lot you know, when we come together we DO make a change even by a little.

I have so much respect and admiration for all that I see you doing, Xiran. From being disciplined and motivated enough to publish novels from a relatively young age, to educating people about your ancestors' history and culture (and doing it in a cool way that makes people actually take interest), and for standing up for social justice and humanitarian issues. You are literally doing all the things that I hope to do with my life, but have not yet cultivated the self-discipline or influence to do.

Keep being unapologetically you and I sincerely hope that this latest effort of yours brings the desired outcome to the family who needs it. You are a true role model in this world.

I agree with some of the other comments in that it’s so sad we can’t even say the name of the place or what going on! This is to help people! It’s crazy that YouTube and other social media platforms are censoring speech like this. I hope the best for this family and all the family is this terrible situation.

I am so glad that finally the discourse is getting louder and more widespread about the issue in Palestine. And seeing more and more people talking about it.
Thank you for doing this!

I have a strong fascination with crows. They are incredibly intelligent creatures that can remember faces for decades. They have also been trained and shown performing intelligence tasks such as the ability to using tools when they need to. They also just look so cool with their sleek and shiny black feathers.

My favourite animal is a wolf, because they're absolutely gorgeous, very intelligent and one of the most family-oriented animals on the planet. Horses are a very close second thanks to their beauty, their many skills, and loyal, affectionate personalities.

Seriously though, huge thank you to Xiran. As a high schooler without a job, I can't help as much as I want to, but I am proud to say that I recently participated in a school walkout, and I'll continue to show my support however I can.

thank you for doing what you can Xiran, and we will do what we can in turn. It's impossible to imagine the pain this family (and so many others) must be going through. They need our help and they need the violence to stop.

I had finished uni when things hit, but I was still in the middle of my phd. Which means no classes but instead just utter isolation. I am so lucky for all of my online friends and loved ones for keeping me sane, and I cannot imagine what its like to be completely cut off from everyone, like this family is right now. It must be a complete nightmare and I cannot believe the world is lettting this happen. Keep sharing and commenting friends, give what you can <3

Back in college now. I have a small parrot who adores participating in online classes. She will be on her bestest behavior because she doesn’t want to miss a single minute of the class. Someone else has a parrot also, you can hear him in the background. Squaaawk!
