Farali Chivda| Falahri Namkeen is a healthy, gluten-free snack to munch on whether fasting or not. Since it is made in an air fryer, therefore, is made in just 1 Tbsp ghee and that too for coating the spices on it.
This Farali Chivda has a mix of Sago (sabudana), foxnuts (makhana), nuts, curry leaves and coconut and is crunchy munchy. It is difficult to keep your hands off once started eating.
Enjoy this Farali Chivda made in air fryer during fasts or non-fasts.
The readymade Chivda is made by deep-frying various ingredients and then mixing everything with salt. But mine is a healthy version as always. I have made this in air fryer which means everything is roasted/air-fried without oil and then while mixing, just 1 Tbsp ghee is added so that salt sticks to it. Thus, totally a healthy mixture/chivda made in Pigeon Stellar.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Fox Nuts (Makhana)
1/2 Cup Peanuts
1/2 Cup Cashews
1/2 Cup Almonds
1/4 Cup Raisins (Optional)
1 Tbsp Ghee
1 Tsp Or As Per Taste Rock Salt (Saindha Namak)
8 to 10 Curry Leaves
Instructions:
1. Preheat Air fryer for 5 minutes at 200 degrees C.
2. Add all the ingredients into the airfryer and cook at 160 degrees for 8-10 Minutes.
3. Add Ghee, salt and toss nicely.
4. Once completely cool, store in an airtight container and enjoy during fasts or non-fasts.
