Yeah but what does it have that my phone doesn't. Surely a developer could just make an app, which matches with a phone update and performs exactly the same thing? It already has a camera, speaker and buttons.

I dont think this will take off like crazy. Most people dont want another device in their pockets. Plus, I can ask my phone questions. I just dont see spending $200 for this. What does it do that will enhance my life in a way that males me have to have one of these

It has a SIM card slot, so yes, it CAN replace your phone. The point of the device, least from my understanding, is to remove yourself from distractions such as the average 70%(?) of entertainment apps and social media on application-based operating systems. While also providing an intuitive LAM-ran AI to interface with your applications; Saving even more time.
