Nice video!
Maybe this is a hot take but I wish they weren't exclusively animal based. The animal head thing could be limited to just one of the three lineages. They shouldn't take too much from the Aasimar but there are plenty more real world celestials to take inspiration from. Plus the curent Ardling doesn't make any sense as a counterpart to the Tiefling. There's no duality and it doesn't make thematic sense. :)

Ardlings are inspired by Celestial Archons. Animal headed angels that have been in every edition of DND except 5e. I guess you could claim they're inspired by animal headed deities but I think it's in the name: "Ard-ling" - "Ar-chon".
They're a spit in the eye to Assimar and no, I'm not salty about it. 😾

"In D&D they are born or have ancestors who originate from the upper planes."
Aasimar: "Are we a joke to you?"
For real though, I love that we're getting a new race, and I'd definitely be up for playing an Ardling character at some point, but we already have a celestial planetouched race in the Aasimar. Why don't WOTC just make them a player's handbook race?
