How do you get it to stay? When I stretch my hair it stays for approximately 2 minutes and just shrinks back up

You can also stretch with package or butcher's string. You can find this thin like yarn in a craft store. Maybe Wal-Mart.

my favorite natural hair youtuber by faaaaaar. the stretch with defintion, no frizz and crazy volume. Jaelen, we have such a similar hair type & my hair has gotten so long (about nip length), but my styling & stretching techniques have not been mastered yet.
this is a crazy idea--but I think it'd be dope if you made a short series called, "correcting your natural hair routines". Your subscribers could post vids of their routine on instagram/tiktok and you could create a specific hashtag that we'd caption the video with and then you could film a video critiquing where it went wrong. You could screen record your phone so that we can see what you're looking at as you're viewing it. And instead of us recording the whole routine (because that would take too much time to watch), we could record specific parts we need help with. Whether that's diffusing, stretching, detangling, or the way we sleep to prolong our wash n go etc.
I think it'd be super helpful lol, but it's just a suggestion!! Even if you don't do it, I'll still love you lol. Your content has helped me so much & i'm forever grateful x
